Music Festivals Around The World To Watch Out This 2020

Due to the coronavirus global pandemic, the music industry is affected. To prevent the spread of the virus, there are music festivals that have been canceled, modified, or rescheduled. For example, Coachella has been postponed which was set to take place in California. On the other hand, here are some more music festivals to add in your list when things return to normal real soon: 

Lollapalooza                 

Lollapalooza will be from July 20 to August 2, 2020, at Grant Park, Chicago. It is a wonderful gathering of music, comedy, dance, and craft booths. This music festival also provides a platform for political and non-profit individual and group artists. Last year, the festival lineup includes the Chainsmokers, Flume, Ariana Grande, Twenty One Pilots, Childish Gambino, and many more. It has drawn around 400,000 people to Chicago. 

Meanwhile, the organizers provide that they will announce the fate of the event by the end of May. They will continue to keep in touch with the City of Chicago regarding this year’s Lollapalooza. 

Pitchfork Music Festival 

Another multi-genre festival in Chicago is called as Pitchfork Music Festival. This year, it will be celebrating its 15th anniversary on Union Park, Chicago. According to the organizers, they would expect around 100,000 music lovers to attend the said festival on July 17 to 19, 2020. Last year, the lineup includes HAIM, The Isley Brothers, Robyn, Belle & Sebastian, Charli XCX, Earl Sweatshirt, and 170 more acts. The organizers continue to remain optimistic that the said music festival will be pushed through. 

Splendour in the Grass 

One of the biggest Australian music festival is called as Splendour in the Grass. This will be on July 24-26, 2020 at North Byron Parklands, Australia. This year, they will be celebrating their 20th anniversary. Some of their artists are Flume, Midnight Oil, The Strokes, Tyler, The Creator, Duke Dumont, and many more. For many years, they always deliver incredible productions. They also feature awesome camping facilities, awesome cuisine, and local arts and crafts. 

Sziget 2020 

This music festival is set on August 5-11, 2020. This year, it will be celebrating its 28th anniversary at Obuda Island on the River Danube of Budapest, Hungary. The lineup for this year includes Calvin Harris, Kings of Leon, Dua Lipa, Major Lazer, Khalid, the Strokes, Foster the People, Lewis Capaldi, Diplo, Mark Ronson, and many more. 

Festival X Australia 2020 

In 2019, Festival X made its debut in Australia and it has become one of the largest Australian music festival. This is the music festival committed to giving you dance and hip-hop music. In 2019, the lineup includes Steve Aoki, Armi Van Buuren, Calvin Harris, and Lil Pump. It was also held in three cities in Australia in 2019 which were Melbourne, Sydney, Alison Wonderland, and Brisbane. 

For this year, the lineup includes Calvin Harris, Steve Aoki, Armin Van Buuren, Lil Pump, Anna Lunoe, Alison Wonderland, Blueface, and many more. It is set to November to December and they will just announce the final dates soon.
