Top Six Activities for Your Prague Hen Weekend

Despite its massive reputation as a high flying stag do city, pretty and picturesque Prague is perfect for your hen party celebrations. Newcastle-based stag and hen party planners, Last Night of Freedom, have seen a huge rise in the number of hen groups they’re sending to this Eastern European gem, and have rounded up their top six activities that they recommend for any Prague hen weekend.

Bobsleigh – Toboggan Run
Thought you’d left slides back in your childhood? Think again. Set just on the outskirts of the city, you can choose your own speed (there’s a brake) for tackling this incredible track, but if you really want to push it, this one-kilometre track is capable of sending you flying at speeds of up to 62km/hour. This challenging course also has several specialities – eight curves and exhilarating bumps to navigate over – and you can enjoy the panoramic views as you bomb down the track.

Duplex
Awarded with membership of ‘The World’s Finest Clubs’, Duplex is a cut above the rest (literally and metaphorically). Boasting an enviable position on top of one of Wenceslas Square’s tallest buildings, this huge glass cube attracts the most exclusive and trendiest people in the whole city, and now your hen do. With this package, you’ll have transfers, guestlist entry, queue jump, VIP tables and a 1500 CZK bar tab each, to make you feel like big time ballers.

Beer Bike It’s a stag and hen classic for a reason – you need to get in on the beer bike action on your hen weekend. If you want to absorb a little bit of the culture of your host city, but don’t want to miss out on valuable drinking time, the beer bike is your new hen party BFF. You’ll be taken around the city’s best sights by your guide, but you will have to put the work in… By that, we mean pedal around the attractions and combine sightseeing with beer. We find that the more you drink, the easier it gets.

Hen Strip Boat

Prague has some gorgeous stretches of water to its name, including the Vlatava River, which winds its way through the city. This river is the most famous in the Czech Republic, and at 433km long, it is the longest in the entire country – and the perfect backdrop for your celebrations. With this fantastic activity, you can climb on board your very own private boat and cruise this famous river, whilst drinking and taking in the views. But, that’s not all – you can also admire a different kind of scenery, when the jaw-droppingly sexy stripper is released to perform his finest striptease for your eyes only.

White Water Rafting

If you live life in the fast lane and are known for being a bit of an adrenaline junkie, you need to know about Prague’s white water rafting centre. Just 45 minutes out of the famous Old Town (where you’ll spend the majority of your hen weekend), you and the girls can take on Prague’s finest and most furious rapids on an epic 410 metre course – featuring a massive drop of 3.6 metres. This white-knuckle ride of a rafting course has even hosted the Czech Cup for rafting and the 2016 ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup, so you know you’re in good company here.

Military Fighter Jet Flight

Admittedly, this one is only for the bravest of hens, but we think you’ve got what it takes. After all, it’s only your last night of freedom once. Feel the rush as you fly through the air in an Aero L-39 Albatros Military Fighter Jet and just you try to contain those screams. You’ll soar through the clouds with your very own pilot, with this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. The adrenaline rush and bragging rights when you get home will be so worth it.
